2011 Clothe-A-Child - October 29

Clothe a Child seeks to address clothing needs of economically disadvantaged children through partnerships with Frisco, Little Elm and Prosper ISDs, churches, area businesses and Kohl’s. Children in grades kindergarten thru 8th grade are identified by the Frisco, Little Elm and Prosper School Districts.
Clothe a Child will occur on THREE Saturdays this year. Mark your calendar for our 2011 Clothe a Child events that will be held at Kohl's in Frisco at 6AM on Saturday, October 8th & 15th for children in Frisco ISD, and Saturday, October 29th for children in Little Elm and Prosper ISDs.
The children and their families will come to Kohl’s where each child will be given a voucher for $100. Each family is matched with volunteers that will assist them in shopping for school clothes (volunteers must be at least 16 years of age). As a volunteer, you would serve a few hours on Saturday morning shopping with children and their families.
With this year’s goal of providing $100 of clothing to 2,000 Frisco, Little Elm and Prosper children, and a need for over 1,250 volunteers, a gift of YOUR TIME & RESOURCES is greatly needed! CrossRidge Church wants to be a blessing to our community by clothing as many children as possible and providing a huge number of volunteers. 100% of your donation goes directly to clothing area children – there are no administrative costs! Please prayerfully consider investing in the lives of these children!
You can sponsor a child by giving financially to CrossRidge Church and designating Clothe-A-Child on your gift or you can sign up to volunteer by visiting: cacfrisco.i-volunteeronline.com. This year’s campaign to clothe area children runs thru Sunday, September 18th.
