In fact, it took 142 dozen donuts. That's a lot of donuts, right? Okay, maybe for some of you this is your normal breakfast but for us commoners this is a lot. The donut store had to start making donuts the night before starting at 10:00 pm so they could be ready to be picked up by 6:00 am the next morning. At 6:00 am, Pastor Chad and Pastor Keno went to the donut store and loaded up the truck. It was good thing Keno had beefed up his suspension to carry this load. After arriving back at the church and unloading the donuts, the 6:30 crew of volunteers showed up to make quick work of organizingthe donuts.
By 6:50 more volunteers showed up and began putting donuts into their cars.
Once the cars were loaded and sent on their way, it only took 15 minutes to get all of the donuts sent to all of the schools. Now that is organization!
Above is proof that at least some of the donuts actually made it. Thank you to all who helped make this another successful Dollar Day event and for helping us bless LEISD and The Education Center.

In April, we embarked on blessing the Little Elm Independent School District's and The Education Center's teachers, administrators, and staff by providing donuts for all of them! Almost 800 employees in all. Needless to say this was going to take more than just a couple of dozen donuts.
