Service TeamsWe are all created by God with individual gifts and talents that are to be used to support the Body of Christ. Thank you in advance for looking into ways you can serve your church family. Ephesians 2:10 tells us: "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." To volunteer and serve, look through our Ministry titles and submit your contact information below. Service Doors - 1st & 2nd ServicePartner with other team members, helping to insure a positive worship service by welcoming people and handing out bulletins. Front Door & Foyer Greeters - 1st & 2nd ServiceServe the Lord by meeting and greeting members and guests who attend worship services, helping attendees get acquainted with our worship service and children’s area if needed. Hospitality Servers - 1st & 2nd Service ServicePrepare and serve coffee, water and snacks for the services and other activities. Greet people with warm smile, handshake, and hello Parking - 1st & 2nd ServiceServe by directing the flow of parking and traffic in the parking lot and protecting the safety of church attendees and their children. Communication Desk - 1st & 2nd ServiceAnswer questions; help with church wide ministry information material. Assist with greeting and welcoming. Resource Center - 1st & 2nd ServiceAnswer questions, help with purchases of service CD, shirts, music, and all other discipleship material. Assist hospitality with greeting and welcoming. Technical Team - 1st & 2nd ServiceRun lights& sound, and PowerPoint. Learn all aspects of audio/video presentation in Children, Youth and Adult worship services. Prayer MinistryThe Prayer Ministry is responsible for receiving and disseminating the prayer needs and praises of our CrossRidge Family and people everywhere. We are also the first point of contact for deaths or emergency hospitalizations--alerting our ministers for immediate response. If you ever have a need, our caring staff is available to assist you and pray with you. Pastor's Prayer PartnersMen of the church are invited to be part of this prayer partner ministry with our Pastor. Involvement includes monthly prayer time with the Pastor and once a month intercessory prayer time in the Prayer Room during the AM Worship Service. Intercessory Prayer RoomThose involved in this ministry commit to pray in the Prayer Room for one hour each week. Lots of prayer requests come to the church through members, phone, and email. |
